What is epilation?

Answered By Heidi Freibauer

Unwanted hair is a menace to your confidence. Waxing products and hair removal treatments prevail because people want to remove excessive hair that grows in their skin. Aside from the laser treatment there is also the epilation.

Epilation is a method of removing unwanted hairs. Two processes constitute epilation and these are the following:

1. Electrolysis- This is a typical hair removal treatment that makes use of hair removal agents.

2. Thermolysis- This uses different current but it is mostly used in epilation. A thin needle is inserted to a hair follicle paralleled to the hair shaft. After applying the current hair is being removed by forceps.
