How does the hair removal method called threading work?

Answered By Heidi Freibauer

An age-old form of removing facial hair was first practiced in the lands of India, China and Middle East. This is the process of threading. This makes use of 100% cotton thread that is twisted and pulled along the skin surface with unwanted hair. The hair is lifted directly from the follicle. It will let you feel a minor pinch.

If you have sensitive skin, threading is perfect for you. Skin rashes and irritation are prevented by the method since the top layer of your skin is not affected. Likewise, threading is an entirely natural process that works in all types of skin.
